- Australia's only Amish store, at Nabiac, 22 km north-west of Forster on the Pacific Highway.
- A dolphin cruise, either on the lake or out to sea.
- The fabulous views from Coorabakh National Park.
- Try your hand at fishing or surfing at the Old Bar and Old Wallabi Point, 15 km south-east of Taree.
- Relax at the beautiful beach at Saltwater, just west of Old Bar.
- Explore sub-tropical rainforest at Wingham Brush Nature Reserve.
